Botanical;
These flowers and plants where photographed in studio, against the backside of an engraving print from the late 18th century. This old paper not only gave the final images the warmth and texture I was looking for, but also subtly shows an image through that I felt represents us (my wife and I) as one. The 18th century engraving is shown below.
The final images where printed on Japanese Kozo (Mulberry) fiber paper by MOAB.
